How do I install and open GroupDesk?
  1. Use Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) with Google Chrome installed. A Mac version is not currently available.
  2. Extract the whole ZIP into a permanent folder. Do not start the program from inside the ZIP.
  3. For the English edition, double-click Start GroupDesk English.cmd. For the Hebrew edition, use Start GroupDesk.cmd.
  4. A desktop shortcut is created after a successful launch. Keep the original folder in place. If launch fails, note the exact error message for support.

Why does the browser link stop working after a restart?
  1. The browser address points to a service running on your own computer. Opening the address alone does not start that service.
  2. Open the GroupDesk desktop shortcut or the launcher in the extracted folder, then wait for the app to open.
  3. Keep the computer awake and online while scheduled posts are due.
  4. After a shutdown or restart, review the queue. Some tasks more than one hour overdue may be marked Time elapsed instead of being sent late.

How do I activate a license? What is an Installation ID?
  1. The Installation ID identifies this GroupDesk installation and binds the license to one computer.
  2. In the current release, give the ID to your supplier, then paste the license code you receive into the app license section.
  3. Issuance and renewal are currently manual. A payment does not automatically activate or renew the app.
  4. If activation fails, note the exact error and check that the code was issued for the correct Installation ID. Do not include the full license code in your initial support request.

How do I connect a Facebook account?
  1. In Accounts & connections, add a clear account name and select Connect to Facebook.
  2. Sign in through the separate Chrome window and complete any Facebook verification there.
  3. Check the detected profile link carefully before confirming that it belongs to the correct account.
  4. Close the connection window when finished. Each account keeps a separate browser session. Never share a Facebook password or verification code with support.

What if the detected Facebook profile is wrong?
  1. Do not confirm a profile that does not belong to the account selected in GroupDesk.
  2. Check the account name and profile link. If a different user is signed in, restore the correct login before resuming publication.
  3. Complete sign-in or verification requests directly in Facebook.
  4. If the mismatch remains, contact support with the error message. Do not delete browser profile folders or bypass identity checks to force posting.

How do I import groups? Why are some missing?
  1. Open My groups, choose the connected account and select Find my groups. Wait for existing activity for that account to finish first.
  2. Search the results, select the groups you want and save the selection.
  3. A scan may be incomplete. You can scan again or save a direct group link manually.
  4. GroupDesk uses the regular discussion composer. Dedicated sale listings and Marketplace are not supported. Use groups you belong to where your content is allowed.

Can I reuse a group selection?
  1. In the scheduling dialog, select groups and save them as a named group list.
  2. Next time, choose that account’s saved list and adjust the selection before saving.
  3. Groups and lists belong to a specific account. A round can include up to 20 destinations.
  4. Deleting a group from GroupDesk does not leave it on Facebook. Also review cancellation of remaining scheduled posts to that group.

How do I save a post with images and videos?
  1. In Create a post, select the account, add an internal title, and write or paste the text.
  2. Add up to 10 files total: JPG, PNG or WebP images up to 8MB each; MP4 or WebM videos up to 50MB each.
  3. Mixed images and videos are supported where the Facebook composer allows them. Check the preview and save. Saving does not publish a post.
  4. The current release does not generate text or graphics with AI and does not post automatic Stories. Personal profile posting is experimental.

Does editing a saved post change existing schedules?
  1. Editing a saved post affects new schedules. Existing schedules keep a snapshot of the original content.
  2. To change a scheduled round, cancel its unsent tasks and recreate them using the updated post.
  3. A saved post can be deleted when it has no queued or active sending jobs.
  4. Deleting a saved post does not remove publications already sent to Facebook.

How do I schedule a post and check it was saved?
  1. Choose an account and saved post, then a future time and groups or a saved list. Check the computer’s time zone.
  2. Save the schedule and confirm it appears in the correct account’s queue or calendar.
  3. If saving fails, read the inline error in the scheduling dialog and complete the missing fields.
  4. The queue is active by default on new installations. A valid license, connected Facebook account and confirmed identity are still required. A manual pause remains after a restart.

A post is due but nothing is happening. What should I check?
  1. Check that the computer is awake and online and that GroupDesk has been started through its shortcut.
  2. In Overview & queue, select the right account and date filter, confirm that the queue is active and look for an account pause message.
  3. Check license validity, Facebook connection, identity confirmation and the wait until the next post.
  4. Resolve sign-in requests, account restrictions or data-saving errors before resuming. Do not repeatedly retry a post without checking whether it was already sent.

What do Published, Pending approval and Unverified mean?
  1. Published: the app found publication evidence or an operator confirmed the result.
  2. Awaiting admin approval: the post was submitted for review and may not yet be visible in the group.
  3. Sent — unverified: submission was attempted, but the app could not confirm that the post appears. Check the destination before trying again.
  4. A destination link opens a group or profile; it is not necessarily a direct link to the post. Unverified submissions are not automatically resent.

How long are the delays, and how many accounts run together?
  1. Each account waits a variable 3–10 minutes between completed attempts. Every 10 counted submissions adds a five-minute rest.
  2. Up to six accounts can publish at once, subject to the license and computer and internet capacity. Other accounts wait for a slot.
  3. Later calendar times are estimates. Waiting periods, open activity, pauses and Facebook conditions can change actual start times.

How do I pause or cancel scheduled posts?
  1. Pause the queue or the relevant round in GroupDesk to stop new sends from starting.
  2. Cancel the relevant future tasks or round, then verify their status in the queue.
  3. A send that already started may still finish. Closing the app’s browser tab does not guarantee that the background service has stopped.
  4. Do not delete account folders or close a sending window as a substitute for cancelling a schedule.

Does a lifetime license expire after six months?
  1. No. A new lifetime purchase has no usage expiry for its covered releases and no account quota. It covers one computer.
  2. Six calendar months of updates are included from license issuance. You can optionally pay to renew update coverage for another six months.
  3. An early renewal extends the remaining period. A late renewal starts from the renewal date and includes the current release.
  4. Facebook changes may require an update. A perpetual license does not guarantee continued Facebook compatibility of an old release. Trial and subscription licenses retain their own expiry and account limits.

How do I update the software?
  1. Updates do not currently download or install automatically. Obtain the appropriate package and instructions from your supplier.
  2. Before replacing files, let active sends finish, pause the queue and make a protected backup following the instructions.
  3. Do not install the Hebrew package over an English installation, or the English package over Hebrew.
  4. Renew update coverage by entering the new license code. Reinstallation is not required just to enter a renewal code. A release’s publication date determines whether it is covered.

What can the in-app helper do?
  1. The local helper matches questions to guide topics such as scheduling, groups, posts and licenses. It is not generative AI.
  2. When you select an account, it can summarize information from that account’s local queue. It reads status and does not change data.
  3. If you still need help, prepare the app version, action attempted, time of the issue and exact error text.
  4. This website is not connected to your computer or Facebook account and cannot verify a particular publication.

What should I include in a support request?
  1. Include the app version, Windows version, app language and the action you were trying to complete.
  2. Add the exact error text and the time it occurred. An Installation ID is needed only for license issues.
  3. If sharing a screenshot, hide customer names and personal information that is not needed to explain the problem.
  4. Never send passwords, verification codes, card details, cookies or browser profile folders. The request builder below creates text on your device and does not send it.
